June 2024: Return to Iceland

Our return to Iceland in June 2024 took us deeper into the wild heart of the island. For 18 days, we roamed the country in a rugged 4x4 camper van, which allowed us to explore the remote Highlands via the legendary F Roads. From glacier lagoons and black sand beaches to mossy lava fields and hidden geothermal oases, every stop was a reminder of Iceland’s raw and elemental power. This second visit revealed an even wilder side of the land of fire and ice. This Iceland 2024 portfolio is my work towards capturing wildlife and landscapes from a 3,000-kilometre journey along the South East and North East Coasts, Landmannalaugar, and Snaefellsnes.
