About Me
I am a photographer based in Ontario, specializing in nature, landscapes, and wildlife. As a fine art photographer, my work is rooted in a deep reverence for nature, wildlife, and the quiet power of the landscapes that shape our world. I am drawn to the subtle, often-overlooked details of everyday moments—fleeting gestures, shifts in light, or the stillness of an untouched horizon—that invite presence and introspection. Whether capturing the fluid motion of a bird in flight or the vast solitude of a remote landscape, my images seek to uncover the extraordinary within the ordinary.

Artist Statement
Photography, for me, is a meditative act—one that encourages slowing down and paying attention. I aim to create contemplative visual spaces that encourage viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the natural world. Each photograph is an invitation: to see more deeply, to feel more fully, and to rediscover a sense of belonging within the environment. Through this process, I hope to inspire not only a sense of wonder, but also a greater awareness of our role in caring for the world around us.
Artistic Approach
My artistic approach is guided by emotional resonance, authenticity, and a careful sensitivity to light, atmosphere, and composition. I strive to portray nature in its most honest and unfiltered form—whether illuminated by the first light of day, shaped by the presence of wildlife, or cloaked in silence. My intention is not to create spectacle, but to offer moments of quiet reflection—images that evoke feeling rather than command attention.
This reflective process is also central to my own growth as an artist. I am drawn to work that lingers—photographs that unfold gradually, revealing new layers with time. I seek out images that offer emotional or narrative depth, that challenge my assumptions, and that open me to new ways of seeing. These encounters continue to shape how I observe the world, how I connect with it, and how I express that connection through my work.
In my own practice, I strive to create photographs that resonate in this same way—images that are not merely seen, but felt. I aim to construct visual experiences that invite viewers into a space of stillness, interpretation, and emotional presence. Whether through light, texture, gesture, or absence, my photography seeks to hold space for memory, introspection, and a shared human sensitivity to the beauty and fragility of the natural world.
Academic Educational Background
In both education and art, I am guided by a desire to cultivate presence, foster reflection, and create spaces—visual or relational—where others feel seen, valued, and inspired. I hold a Ph.D. in Philosophy with a specialization in Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning from the University of Toronto. Additionally, I have an M.Ed. in Foundations of Learning and Teaching Behavior, specializing in Adult Education from Brock University, and an Honors BA in Early Childhood Education from Toronto Metropolitan University.
Over the years, I have worked as an early childhood educator, supervisor, and professor, forming meaningful relationships with children, families, students, and colleagues. These experiences have shaped a lifelong commitment to care, connection, and thoughtful observation—values that also lie at the heart of my photographic practice.
